  I have been visiting this pub for over 40 years and though landlords have changed the pub has not. Consistently good food , dog friendly, people friendly and I am sure the beers are excellent though I am not a beer expert. The landlord and his staff are efficient and welcoming. and the old building is a traditional country pub with a lovely fire on cold days. Superb outside space near the river. The ham & eggs are my favourite ,tasty and beautifully cooked. I hope the place never becomes smart and plastic like so many pubs nowadays.
